Prep Time

Whipped ricotta is the five-minute appetizer that tastes like you fussed for an hour. A quick spin in the food processor turns whole-milk ricotta into a cloud-soft, silky dip; a swirl of honey and our Calicutts Mediterranean Blend layer in warmth, herbs, and a little savory depth. Spread it in a shallow bowl, drizzle with more honey, finish with flaky salt, and serve with warm grilled bread or seeded crackers. This easy whipped ricotta dip is endlessly versatile — a crowd-pleasing party appetizer, a wine-night snack, or a make-ahead starter you can whip up in advance and dress just before guests arrive. Sweet, herby, and impossibly creamy, it’s the recipe that quietly disappears first.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz Whole-milk ricotta

  • 2 Tbsp Olive oil, good quality

  • 1 Tbsp Honey, plus extra for drizzling

  • 1 tsp Calicutts Mediterranean Blend, plus a pinch for finishing

  • Flaky finishing salt

  • Grilled bread or seeded crackers, for serving

Directions

  1. In a food processor, whip the ricotta with the olive oil for about 60 seconds, until silky.

  2. Add the honey and Mediterranean Blend and pulse to fold them in.

  3. Transfer to a shallow bowl. Drizzle with more honey, add a pinch more Mediterranean Blend, and finish with flaky salt.

  4. Serve with warm grilled bread or seeded crackers.
